Red A Entertainment is an independent film production and finance company founded by producer and film-finance executive Hadeel Reda. Red A’s current and recent work includes Borderline, Unit 234, and GFY, a 1998-set psychological thriller currently in development. Building on more than two decades of experience across development, production, financing, international sales, and distribution strategy, Red A works selectively with strong creative teams, producers, financiers, and talent to help shape projects that are creatively distinct, commercially viable, and built for the realities of today’s independent film landscape.

Hadeel Reda is an independent producer and film-finance executive with more than 25 years of experience developing, producing, financing, and selling feature films.
Reda’s recent producing work includes Borderline, Unit 234, and the upcoming feature GFY. Her current producing focus is on partnering with ambitious creative teams and experienced producers to build elevated, emotionally charged, commercially viable independent films.
Through Red A Entertainment, Reda has worked across both studio-facing and independent films, with experience spanning project development, production oversight, financing structures, international sales, talent packaging, and distribution strategy. Her producing and executive producing credits include films featuring Bruce Willis, Sigourney Weaver, Gene Hackman, Woody Harrelson, John Cleese, Teri Hatcher, Billy Bob Thornton, James Marsden, Jon Voight, Lance Henriksen, Jason Bateman, Nicole Kidman, and Christopher Walken.
Reda executive produced 16 Blocks, starring Bruce Willis and directed by Richard Donner, released by Warner Bros. Her executive producer credits also include the number one U.S. box office hit Heartbreakers, starring Sigourney Weaver and Gene Hackman; Scorched, starring Woody Harrelson and John Cleese; and Joel Silver’s action thriller Jane Doe, starring Teri Hatcher.
As Chief Executive Officer of Winchester Films, Reda founded the company’s Los Angeles division in 1998 as part of the U.K. publicly traded Winchester Entertainment plc. Winchester focused on film financing, production, and international distribution. During her time there, Reda helped establish film-financing structures, international output deals, and first-look relationships with major producers and filmmakers, including Chuck Gordon, Richard Donner, Lauren Shuler Donner, and Wind Dancer Production Group. She also oversaw international sales efforts for more than 30 films.
Prior to Winchester, Reda spent four years as an executive at The Walt Disney Company, working in feature film development and international distribution. During her tenure, she worked on international marketing campaigns for Disney feature films including The Lion King, Pocahontas, and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Reda graduated with a B.A. in Film from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
